  The service was good and the food very well presented, with a very imaginative dessert menu! One dish to share as a starter (the dishes are very generous!), a main and a dessert each, a bottle of wine, two glasses of champagne and brandy to finish and it was still only €120. Extraordinary value compared to what you’d have paid for fine dining in Madrid or BCN. You can certainly pay less at Bascook by having the set menu. Highly recommended.

  Had heard good things about this place and read good reviews. All together at our table we had 6 different dishes, which we all tasted and agreed that they lacked finess and tasting wise was not close to the price level. Also the service was weird with around 4 different people coming by our table and more then once we were asked if we were done with our dishes which was not even close, which kind of gave a stressful feel to the night.

  Exemplary food. Despite a meat and fish biased menu, there are some truly outstanding vegetarian options. It’s worth calling a few days before if you want a vegetarian tasting menu.

  Teasty food, gourmet, small dishes, intense flavors. They make their own beer (try it, really good beer). Please reserve it, really crowded place.

  I'm am an American traveling through the Basque Country for the first time. This place is a must! Come during the week for the most affordable prices with no lack in quality at all.
